I need funds to attend school and pay for living expense while in school

lnichols started this conversation
I'm attending Pre- Physician Assitant classes at this time and working 24 to 32 hours per week I would like to be able to dedicate more time to my studies and spend less time working until I receive my degree. I feel that my grades are suffering because I can't devote as much time as I would like to my classes and studying. I also know that once I enter the professional phase of my program I will not be able to work but I am not sure how I will be able to pay rent and bills and buy food. I'm a nontradtional student and returning to school after my son is grown and on his own.

I do not know where you live but in Nashville (if you go to State School) there is plenty of money for your field. Vanderbilt and other schools have funds for your program.

Also, the feds have a program that will pay for your school. You must agree to every year school is paid for, you must work in a rual area year per year. Nashville has plenty of rual areas that qualify.

You need to google Physician Assitant  and school Nashville.

There is a school here that has a link to the program I am talking about. NON Traditional /   http://www.trevecca.edu/academics/non.trad.undergrads

They have the program....

Hope this helps,

Phyl
